A new model from JJRC was released in form of the H25G. The particularity of this model is the presence of a complete FPV system beside it's ready to fly experience. The quad comes with a 2 mega pixels detachable camera, it's own vTX (video transmitter) along with a specially designed remote that includes the vRX and a built in monitor. The camera can also be controlled from the remote, you can select to take pictures or to record video in the same time as you watch where the quad is flying on the scree. The advertised working range is of 200 meters.
In depth
The JJRC H25G is a brushed quad copter that comes pretty well packed. It's size factor is similar to the much more expensive Phantom series, with a size of 50 x 50 x 18 cm. Also it's weight is around 600 grams which makes it able to be more stable in gusts of wind. The power comes this time from a 7.4 Volt two cell (2S) Li-Po battery that has a capacity of 1800 mAh. In this configuration the quad is able to fly around 10 minutes which is more than decent comparing with older 1S models that were topping 6-7 minutes. You must also keep in mind that FPV system not only adds more weight but also draws more power for the video transmitter.
Another novelty of this quad is the remote controller which has the LCD monitor actually integrated in, proving a more robust configuration comparing with traditional hang on types. On the screen you can see in real time what the quad is doing and it also helps you frame the landscape before snapping a picture or shooting a video. The TX is power only by 4 x 1.5 AA batteries that are not included. It's possible that the remote may run also on good quality NiMh rechargeable cells but caution should be taken as they only provide around 1.2 V per battery making a voltage drop. To avoid self jamming the TX control works on already 2.4Ghz band, while the vTX works on the 5.8Ghz so the two systems are isolated and will not interfere one with the other. Another interesting feature is the ability to playback the recording from the camera via the LCD monitor of the transmitter.
The quad also comes with useful extras included such as propeller guards which can be extremely useful for a beginner pilot. This will not only protect the propellers themselves but also the motors from receiving shocks and will potentiality avoid crashes when objects are hit, like branches, tree trunks, walls and so on. You must keep in mind that they protect but not insure to be crash proof so care must be taken during flight. Other good extras are comprised of a memory card for storing the footage and also a card reader to use it you PC, making this quad more ready to fly but also to use.

The flight characteristics of the new JJRC H25G quad are given by a 6 axis gyro stabilization system and a flight controller that is also capable of headless mode which makes it a lot more easier to pilot it in the beginning and also a return to home function which will bring the quad back to you in case you can't orient it back. There are also fun functions implemented such as complete 360 degree tricks which consist of flips and rolls to make "cool" video shots and impress friends with them.
